Instructions
For the best results, start with a clean, dry surface before hanging your peel-and-stick fabric shade. Peel off the backing and press the shade firmly against the window frame, moving your hand back and forth with pressure to ensure a secure hold.
Once adhered, grab the bottom of the shade and step back, giving it a good stretch—this step is crucial for the shade to fully cover your window and function properly. To raise it, simply fold it along the pleats and use the included clips to hold it at your desired height. For maximum privacy, remove the clips to lower the shade completely. Remember, a proper stretch at the start is key! For the best coverage, install the shade inside the window frame.
If your shade is too big for your window, use the included ruler to measure the exact width you need. Then, place the ruler on a cutting board and lay the shade on top, aligning it for a precise measurement. This will help ensure a perfect fit before trimming your shade to size.
Using a serrated-edged knife, apply firm, even pressure and saw back and forth until you’ve cut through the material. A little elbow grease goes a long way! Take your time to ensure a clean edge, and you’re all set with a perfectly customized fit.
